What is Sweet Charity?

Sweet Charity Cookies was founded by Christopher Trela, an award-winning writer, photographer and cookie lover. His love for baking cookies started many years ago when he found a famous recipe for chocolate chip cookies. He made a batch, then another, and another. He experimented with ingredients, altered the recipe, and created several different types of chocolate chip cookies.

Everyone loved the cookies, so Christopher entered them in the OC Fair. After winning several ribbons, he began baking and donating his cookies to local nonprofit organizations.     

Now, Christopher has combined his philanthropic work and love for the arts with his passion for baking. Half of the net profits are shared with a local arts or nonprofit organization every month.
